Where did July go???

Well considering I last posted on July 12th I would say I have a little making up to do.  Ill back date the entries to make it look like it didn't lapse THAT much...... So lets see.  Dad's Birthday was the 17th.  Robert, Ryan, and I celebrated it as appropriate as we could by taking the boat out.  We used to to this every year we were home and even though Dad wasn't with us we kept "cheersing" him. 

Robert even took Kali out on the boat.  It is crazy how scared she is of the pool or of any water at all and she gets out here and jumps in like nothing.  It was great!  She loved it!



I figured this would probably be Robert's last time on the boat for the summer but I guess the reality of it all set in later.

We finally got the Indiana numbers off the boat and the AZ numbers on..... Only took a good 9 months!





This picture takes me back to the days when every weekend as kids we would be out on the boat.  Even during the week we would go out there for lunch to the sandbar.  And it never failed one of us kids would always fall asleep.  It was just so easy to do with no worries in the world and nothing but the sound of the motor.  In Roberts case, here he had the help of a little beer to pass out but, the idea always is stuck in my head!
